PDL wants to negotiate with PNL for future governing
The PDL leaders could meet, this week, with the members of the PNL leadership to negotiate a parliamentary majority to form the new government, after parliamentary elections, democrat-liberal sources stated for Mediafax. According to the quoted sources, up to now there were only “ trials at principle level” between “ decision factors” of the PDL and the PNL. They added that there was the need for meetings to shape the common viewpoints of the two parties, for a future governing.
« They made mistakes. We admit we were no angels. We had our mistakes. We learned as they did. Things could be straightened up, without passion or politics” sources from the PDL leadership consider. They also said that the issue of rebuilding the Alliance DA did not come in the discussion. “ It is premature. And, anyway, this political forum was not cancelled judicially. The alliance was not denounced by any of the comprising parties, thus it still exists, at judicial level. But nobody discussed about this judicial level.” “The best solution for Romania is the right for governing and the left for the opposition. Between PDL and PNL there are many resemblences at economic and fiscal level, and they must be put to value” the quoted sources said. Democrat-liberal sources consider that there is a series of “ irreconciliable differencies” between PSD and PDL, referring to economic and fiscal measures which the two bodies should take. At the same time, the democrat-liberals say that “PSD is the real enemy of PDL from a doctrine point of view, but there are in the PSD the true competitors of PDL from a human point of view”.
