Phone conversation between president Iohannis and Pavel Filip, Moldova’s premier
Pavel Filip, the premier of Moldova, had a phone conversation with the president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, a press release of the Chisinau government shows.
The two officials talked about the partnership between Romania and Moldova and possibilities to initiate bilateral collaboration in new fields of joint interest.
During talks, Pavel Filip pointed out that the Chisinau executive was preoccupied with the implementation of reforms needed to improve the citizens’ living conditions, to ensure functioning of state institutions and the country’s economic development. At the same time, the Moldova’s premier reasserted his firm determination to continue Moldova’s European integration and achieve engagements assumed with its development partners.
In his turn, Iohannis declared that Romania will continue to support the implementation of measures for Moldova’s modernization, to consolidate democracy and the rule of law in that country, the press release shows.
