Six cities in Romania will host concerts in the International Festival George Enescu programme

Six cities in Romania will host concerts and recitals in the programme of the International Festival George Enescu announces on Monday the organisers of the event.

 

According to a press release of ARTEXIM, concerts and recitals in the programme of the festival which will take place in Bucharest will delight the public from Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timisoara, Sibiu, Bacau and Lugoj and will offer the occasion to listen to musicians of the most prestigious orchestras - symphonic and chamber orchestras - in the world.

 

Five concerts and recitals in the programme of the Festival wil get to Cluj-Napoca, the first being programmed on Thursday, 31st August in the Auditorium Maximum Hall in the building of the Academic College of the Babes Bolyai University.

On Friday, 15th September, at 7:00 pm, at the Students' House in Iasi, the Philarmonic Orchestra Moldova will perform under the direction of South Korean conductor Hankyeol Yoon and will be accompanied by the pianist Florian Mitrea as soloist.

 

The International Festival George Enescu gets to Bacau, at the Mihai Jora Philarmonic, on Friday, 22nd September.

 

Four concerts will take the spirit of the Festival to Sibiu on the stage of the Thalia Hall of the Sibiu State Philarmonic and in Timisoara there will be concerts between 3rd and 20th September - six events at the Capitol Hall of the Banatul Philarmonic.
