The bilateral relation between Romania and the UK will be kept’ strong and productive’ after Brexit, the situation of the Romanians in the UK will not change immediately and the Romanians are still welcme, said on Monday the British ambassador Paul Brummell for Mediafax.
The Romanian officials discussed with the representatives of the Embassy of the UK to Bucharest immediately after the referendum and established that the UK remains a key partner for Romania, in the NATO and the bilateral relation, based on 136 years of diplomacy will be kept the same ‘ strong, proactive, positive’ stated Brummell.
At the same time, the Romanians who live in the UK will not be affected along the process of negotiation between the UK and the European Union and the Romanians are welcome, said the British diplomat giving the example of some public statements made by the mayor of London SadiqKhan or other British diploma
