The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, the Museum of the Cris Countries and the Honorary Consulate of Romania for Trentino-Alton Adige have the pleasure to invite you on Thursday 30 January 2014, at 18 hours in the Foaier Hall of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant (Kiseleff no3, Bucharest) at the launching of the exhibition ARHEFANII of the Italian artist Paolo Tait. The exhibition will be visited by 2 March 2014, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10 and 18 hours.
Paolo Tait was born in 1952 Mezzolombardo, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige – Sudtirol, in Northern Italy. He had numerous exhibitions personal and group ones in Italy, Germany and Denmark, and in Romania he has already exhibited at the Museum of Cris Countries in 2007. In 2011 he represented Italy at the 54 edition of the Biennale in Venice.
Paolo Tait`s works are grandiose, troubling and beautiful. They are the result of free thinking and strong thinking which makes no compromise with what already exists or existed as a consecrated form in time. For him, creativity starts where the light of day goes out, where the forest keeps quiet and steals away in the semi-darkness of the bushes (Vittoria Coen).
The exhibition is organised under the patronage of the Italian Embassy to Romania, the Romanian Embassy to Italy, the General Consulate of Romania to Milan, of the Autonomous region Trentino-Alto Adige-sudtirol,of the Autonomous province Trento and the Townhall of Mezzolombardo (TN).
