The Indie festival of independent film producers – online, 8-11 April

The indie festival of independent film producers -  IPIFF goes online, on the platform CINECLIC due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemics, informs a press release of the organisers, sent on Friday.

All nominated films will be available for viewing between 8 and 11 April, at any time, on cineclic.ro, the quoted source says.

The Awards Gala at Odeon theatre will take place without any public on 11th April at 6 p.m. and will broadcast live on the Facebook page of the theatre and that of the festival, as well as on cineclic.ro.

The nominated films which run for the trophy IPIFF 15 will be judged by Manuela Cernat – film critic and university professor,Anamaria Antoci – film producer and Constantin Cotimanis, actor.

The awards will be given for The best independent producer of a documentary, The best independent producer of a  student film, The best independent producer of a short film, The best independent producer of an international short film, The best independent producer of a feature film.

The shortlisted productions will be viewed online, during the three days of festival.

IPIFF is organised by the Union of Film and Audio-Visual producers in Romania – The Romanian Association for the Management of Works in Audio-Visual (UPFAR-ARGOA) and has as main objective to promote the Romanian contemporary film by means of the film producer,focusing on the independent film production and professionals included in such projects.

The director of the festival this year is director Toma Enache, the winner of IPIFF2019 for The Best feature film.
