The teacher Cristiana Anghel continues her hunger strike

The teacher Cristiana Anghel of Caracal, in her 63rd day of hunger strike stated on Monday that she will continue her protest. “ In the meantime, I got a cold, I had temperature but with the help of the personnel here I will be better” she stated on Monday for Agerpress the teacher hospitalised at the Institute for metabolism and nutrition “N.Paulescu”. She says she has lost almost 2 Kg since she was hospitalised.
« I will continue my protest until those who lead us understand that his is our country and according to the constitution this is a state of rule country, which means they have to observe the law” she said.

Dr. Cornelia Zetu, spokesperson of the Institute N.Paulescu said that the patient was hospitalised on 1 October coming from the County Hospital in Caracal at the request of the patient and the hospital, with the agreement of the institute to be monitored taking into consideration her special situation.

The woman has started her hunger strike as protest to the reduction of salaries by 25% and the fact that the law regarding the increase of teachers’ salaries by 50% was not applied.
