What the Romanians without money buy: phones and television sets
Over 32% of the Romanians say that on the list of long-term use products they bought last year there was a mobile phone. The second place is still disputed. In big cities of over 50,000 inhabitants, the television set is the good indicated as second on the shopping list, according to a study of Ecotic association. Things are different in smaller communities, with a population of 20,000 - 50,000 inhabitants. They say the mobile phone is the main acquisition, but second is laptop or computer, 23.8% saying this was the object they bought. Only 18.9% of the inhabitants of big cities say one of the three objects they bought was a fridge or a freezer.
