The volume of the turnover of the market services for the population has dropped in Q1 of this year
against the similar period of 2019, both as gross series by 38.3% and as adjusted series depending on the number of workdays and season by 36.4%, according to the data published on Thursday by the INS.
‘The activity of market services for the population, gross series between 1 st January – 30 th June 2020 has recorded a turnover by 38.3% lower than the period 1January-30 June 2019, influenced by the reduction of the turnover with: activity of the tour operators and touristic agencies (-47.2%), gaming and other recreational activities (-41.9%), hotels and restaurants (-36.6%), hairdressing and other beauty activities (-41.9%), laundry and drycleaning of textiles and fur (-22.3%). The activity of market services for the population, adjusted series depending on the number of workdays and season, between 1 st January and 30 th June 2020 registered a turnover by 36.4% lower than compared to the period 1January – 30 June 2019’ the INS data show.
The volume of the turnover from market services for the population, against the corresponding month of the previous year has dropped as gross series by 44.8% and as adjusted depending on the number of workdays and season by 46.3%.
For the first six months, the volume of the turnover in the trade with vehicles and motocycles has
lowered against the similar period of 2019 both as gross series by 17% and as adjusted series depending on the number of workdays and season by 15.8%.
