‘ The week of the Swedish comedy film’ has started
The week of the Swedish comedy film has started on Saturday and goes on to 12th June.
The event organised by Bucharest Best Comedy Film together with the Embassy of Sweden to Bucharest takes place on the TV channel ComedyEst and may be viewed on the Digionline platform.
The opening gala took place on Saturday night,with Therese Hyden – the ambassador of Sweden to Bucharest, Ada Solomon,Corneliu Porumboiu, Dana Rogoz, Ada Condeescu, etc as guests.
Everyday a film will be presented preceded by a show moderated by the film critic Irina Margareta Nistor. The guests of these shows are important representatives of the Romanian cultural life who had projects in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy to Bucharest.
The chosen films are: A man called Ove(2015), Solsidan (2017), The Devil's eye (1960), A piece of my heart (2019), Unmarried couples (1997) and La Gomera (Romanian-Swedish coproduction 2019).
‘This festival represents an extraordinary opportunity to make the Swedish films known, especially to celebrate the National Day of Sweden ( 6th June). This festival makes it possible to dedicate the National Day not only one day but a week of films and interviews about Sweden’ said Therese Hyden, the ambassador of Sweden to Bucharest, in a press release.
