Basescu : “Tariceanu offered me partnership with the oligarchs”

President Traian Basescu stated, on Wednesday, when coming back from Serbia that he had sent to the government the report and the private correspondence card to the Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu, mentioning that the meaning of the card was to be offered by the prime minister partnership with the oligarchs.Basescu mentioned the report and the correspondence card had been sent to him by Tariceanu in the first part of 2005. The head of state said the prime minister informed him in the card about attaching a report regarding Petromedia, unsigned, and wondered if he could mention it in a discussion with the prosecutors about the law-case.
