EC's Vice-President Timmermans in Bucharest on March 1, to meet President Iohannis, PM Dancila, Speaker Dragnea

Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, will visit the Parliament on Thursday, March 1.  He will meet President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, Senate Speaker Calin Popescu Tariceanu and Chamber of Deputies Speaker Liviu Dragnea, Secretary of the Chamber of Deputies, Georgian Pop, has announced on Monday, at the end of the Standing Bureau.

"On 1 March, [Vice-President of the European Commission] Timmermans comes to Parliament. He is scheduled to meet the Speaker of the Chamber, Mr [Liviu] Dragnea and, afterwards, members of the select committee [a joint committee of the Chamber and the Senate on the systematisation, unification and assurance of legislative stability in the justice area]," Chamber's Secretary Georgian Pop announced at the end of a meeting on Monday of the Standing Bureau.

He added that the schedule of Timmermans' visit will be announced later.
