Eurostat: Romania, on the 8th place in EU in terms of increase in industrial production prices
Romania stood, in December 2014, on the 8th place in the European Union in terms of increase in industrial production prices compared to the same period in 2013, given that this indicator rose by 0.3% in the European Union and decreased by 0.2% in the Eurozone, show the data released on Thursday by the European Statistical Office (Eurostat).
The highest increases in industrial production prices were recorded in Ireland (18.2%), Estonia (7.6%), Poland (5.7%), Croatia (5.3%), Czech Republic (4.7 %), Hungary (4.6%), Lithuania (2.7%) and Romania (2.1%), and the most significant decreases were seen by Greece (4.2%), Malta (3.8%) and Portugal (3.1%).
Industrial production prices rose by 0.1% in the European Union (EU28) and remained stable in the Eurozone in December 2014 compared to the previous month.
In Romania, industrial production prices went down by 0.2% in December, after a 0.9% decline a month earlier.
