Iohannis starts today a visit to Spain

President Klaus Iohannis will go on an official visit for two days to Spain starting on Monday where he is going to meet king Felipe VI, premier Mariano Rajoy and the representatives of the Romanian community.

About the two-day visit of president Klaus Iohannis relates the Spanish press.

The Spanish daily La Vanguardia writes that the government of Madrid announced that premier Mariano Rajoy will have a meeting with the Romanian president Klaus Iohannis at Moncloa Palace after they have a press conference.

At the same time, during his visit of two days , the president will meet king Felipe VI of Spain.

Klaus Iohannis will meet the representatives of the Romanians, in Spain being one of the biggest communities of Romanians in the world. At the second round of elections in November 2014 in Spain there voted 82,744 Romanians. Out of these, 74,995 (90,63%) voted with Iohannis and 7,749 (9.36%) with Ponta.

Since signing in as president Klaus Iohannis had foreign visits in the Republic of Moldova, Poland, Germany and France Italy and Ukraine.
