Jaak Mikkel, general manager of Coca-Cola HBC Romania, is the new President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania), reads a release sent on Thursday.
Following elections and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 22 March 2017, AmCham Romania has a new Board of Directors, with the following members: Catalin Velescu, Business Services Operations Leader CEE - MEA, 3M Romania, Bogdan Ion, Country Managing Partner - EY Romania, Elisabeta Moraru - Country Business Development Manager, Google, Gabriela Matei - General Manager, Microsoft Romania, Daniela Nemoianu - Senior Partner, Nemoianu Consulting, Tax&Law, Ionut Sas - Tax Partner, PwC Romania and James Daniel Stewart - Vice President, Raiffeisen Bank.
Vice-Presidents Anda Todor, managing partner of Dentons, Radu Florescu, CEO of Centrade Cheil, and Madeline Alexander, Audit Partner & EU Account Leader, Deloitte as Treasurer are part of the Executive Board.
Jaak Mikkel, the President of AmCham Romania, reiterated the Chamber's strong commitment to represent the business community in the consultations with the decision-makers with the aim to adopt the best public policies and economic measures to the benefit of Romania.
AmCham joins over 400 US, international and local companies with aggregate investments worth over USD 20 billion, and with around 250,000 jobs created.
