MFP: in the first two months of 2017 there was budgetary excess
According to the operational data, the execution of the consolidated general budget for the first two months of 2017 ended with an excess of 397.1 million lei, respectively 0.05% of GDP against 788.1 million lei, respectively 0.10%of GDP during the same period of 2016, says the ministry of public finances (MFP).
The income of the general consolidated budget worth 34.9 billion lei representing 4.3% of GDP were 1.4% less, nominal terms, against the similar period of the previous year.
There were increases against the previous year for collections from income tax and salary tax (+13.6%) social contributions (+11.9%) foreign commerce tax and international tradings (+18.8%) and capital income (+76.8%).
Collections from other taxes on goods and services increased by 90.9% against the same period of the previous year, the growth being determined mainly, by the evolution of the collections for contribution for pharma, as well as the cost-volume/cost-volume-result contracts financed by the budget of the National Single Fund for social health insurances.
