Revocation proposal for Victor Ciorbea, People’s Advocate sent to Parliament

Liberals begin actions to revoke the People’s Advocate, Victor Ciorbea and request Permanent Bureaus to include it on the agenda of the first joint session, adding that Ciorbea was a PSD servant.

“We will request the initiation of revocation procedures. Concrete steps are a request for joint Permanent Bureaus to include it on the agenda of the first joint Chamber and Senate session and we hope to revoke Mr Victor Ciorbea from office with the majority vote of MPs present,” said deputy Raluca Turcan.

She mentioned Ciorbea’s lack of reaction about the order which allowed the mayors’ political migration, “a reaction exagerated after a few years by sanctioning norms which forbade condemned people to be part of government”, as well as the public way in which Ciorbea answers PSD requests and expectations”, “in contempt towards citizens whom he should represent in relations with state institutions.”
