Vietnam's Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has accepted an invitation for an official visit to Bucharest
Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has accepted an invitation for an official visit to Bucharest extended by Romania's Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu on Tuesday at a meeting in Hanoi, Romania's Foreign Ministry (MAE) reports in a press statement.
Comanescu was part of a retinue accompanying Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos on an official visit to Vietnam.
"The conversation between the Romanian and Vietnamese chief diplomats focused on the latest developments in and prospects for traditional bilateral as well as multilateral cooperation, inside international organisations, the EU-ASEAN dialogue as well as inside ASEM and the UN. Also discussed were current international and regional affairs," says MAE.
MAE adds that also underscored on the occasion were the special significance of the ongoing visit by the Romanian prime minister to the reinvigoration of the high-level dialogue and boosting the development of multifaceted relations between Romania and Vietnam, particularly economic ones to reflect the real potentials of the two countries.
