Beauty weekend at Romanian Creative Week, most important event dedicated to Romanian creative industries

Romanian Fashion Week, which will take place on May 26 and 28 in the Palas Public Garden, opens the beauty weekend in Iasi, as part of Romanian Creative Week (RCW), the most important event dedicated to the Romanian creative industries.

At its 15th edition, the Romanian Fashion Week fashion festival comes again this year with the best selection of established and emerging designers in three days of shows on the most spectacular catwalk ever built in the country, in Palas Public Garden.

"Our event proposes new names at each edition. We have the courage to give free rein to many young artists and curators, who have shown us that they are doing extraordinary things. What we are trying to do in Iasi is to raise the level of the cultural and artistic act, not only in our city, but also at national level. And the signs that we are on the right track are very clear. We are very happy that, this year, we received the news from the European Union Intellectual Property Office, which announced that RCW is the event that brings together the largest number of creative industries at European level. It is not only a joy, but also a fact that makes us feel very responsible," Irina Schrotter, President of the the Federation of Employers of the Creative Industries (FEPIC), the organizer of Romanian Creative Week, told a press conference.

According to the organizers, 19 established designers, 26 emerging designers, of whom 15 winners of the biggest fashion competition in Romania, the fashion design sections of the four most important universities in the country and, for the first time, the one in Chisinau, benefiting from the beauty services of the teams led by Alexandru Abagiu and Sorin Stratulat, will present their collections in 50 individual or collective shows.
