As many as 144 SAPARD projects terminated in four years

Romania's Rural Development and Fisheries Payment Agency (APDRP) terminated 144 SAPARD projects, 2003 - March 2007, 134 of which were projects for private investment in the agri-food industry, farm undertakings and the diversification of economic activities in rural areas, show data with the APDRP.Another 10 SAPARD projects for public investment in upgrading rural infrastructures were also cancelled over the same time.As many as 77 contracts were terminated in 2006, and nine so far this ...
