New safety norms for road tunnels

The Government approved in the Wednesday session new safety measures for the road tunnels, already functioning or under construction, so that they may correspond to the safety level regulated by the European Commission's Directive 542004.The draft law approved by Government regards the tunnel's geometry and design, safety equipment, traffic signs, traffic management, staff training, the management of situations as well as information on conduct in tunnels.These safety measures are designed ...
