Bechtel hires Turks to build Transilvania motorway

US Bechtel company, the developer of the Transilvania motorway linking Brasov to Bors, west-central Romania, has aroused anger for fetching over 100 Turks to work on the motorway.Whereas the Cluj County Employment Agency (AJOFM) is refusing to help Bechtel find manpower accusing it of bad faith in hiring the Romanians, trade unions officials are pointing to the huge gaps between the wages paid by the company to the Turks and those paid to Romanians, daily Romania libera writed on Wednesday. ...
