Romania, Serbia conduct cross-border cooperation projects on tourism

The County Council of Mehedinti (southwestern Romania) and the City Hall of Negotin, Serbia decided at a meeting at Drobeta-Turnu Severin on Thursday to promote joint projects for the tourist development of the cross-border areas.Mehedinti County Council deputy chairman Gheorghe Florescu told Rompres the two sides have begun the implementation of four joint projects benefiting from nearly one million euros in European Union funds; the projects target the good use of the tourist and cultural ...
