Trade: Imports of food products from non-EU states half

Romania's imports of non-food products from non-EU countries totaled in January as many as 41.4 million euros, almost haf the value of deliveries in January 2006, which amounted to 74.8 million euros, according to the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development. Romanian companies imported from outside the EU area mainly citrus fruits, the value of deliveries being of 6.7 million euros, but also fresh, frozen or dry fish - about one billion euros, poultry meat - 830,000 ...
